Help Meep fight FIP

Donation protected
I am fundraising for my friend Kelsey. Recently, her 1 year old cat got diagnosed with FIP. FIP stands for Feline Infectious Peritonitis. This is essentially a terminal virus that has only one known cure. This cure has a 90% success rate, but if left untreated, Meep will not make it. This cure consists of 84 days of injections by needle and is very costly. Kelsey has spent roughly $5,000 so far and is at day 23 of 84.

A little backstory on Meep. Meep is a rescue cat and has always been a big bundle of joy. She is a very affectionate and outgoing cat, loves to play, and cuddle. Meeps favorite activities include hanging out with her best friend Grey, cuddling with mom and trying to keep her up all night, and running around, trying to catch her laser.

Though this disease has immensely impacted her immune system and eyesight, Meep has started her treatments, and thankfully is still able to see her laser and has been making positive progress.

The need for funds is crucial at this time. Donations will be going towards supplies for the daily injections, the treatments, pain management medicine, and various vet appointments. Treatment for FIP is not offered in the United States and therefore not covered by pet insurance. Treatment has to be shipped from Canada where it is patented and prescribed.

We would do anything to keep Meep alive and healthy. Our promise to you: We understand that your support is not just about the financial contribution. It is an act of kindness and compassion. We promise to keep you updated on the progress and share her victories and challenges throughout her journey. Your generosity will not be taken for granted, and we will forever be grateful for your help.

Not only will your contribution help save Meeps life, but will also raise awareness of FIP in cats. Continued research will not only save the lives of other potential cats with FIP, but will allow the opportunity for the treatment to become FDA approved in the United States. Once the treatment is approved, it will be more accessible to other families that are going through the same heartache.

If you are unable to donate funds we would greatly appreciate your prayers and for you to spread the word by sharing Meeps story on social media and among your network.
