I have some exciting news to share! I have just been accepted to the Sisters of Life, a religious community that vows to protect and enhance the sacredness of every human life. I opened my letter of acceptance while holding my newborn nephew, which seemed rather fitting.

Prior to my entrance on September 2nd, my college debt needs to be paid off. I recently graduated from Ave Maria University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am asking for assistance with $20,000 of the college debt I acquired during my time at Ave. It is common among those entering religious life or pursuing the priesthood to have their college debt paid off before they enter.

Last August, the Lord pierced my heart and asked me to be His. I felt a particular attraction to the Sisters of Life, who I had never met before. After visiting with the community in December, I experienced indescribable joy and peace that this is where I was meant to be. He continued to speak through my clinical experiences during nursing school. The graces from the Lord have been abundant throughout my discernment with the Sisters of Life.

The Sisters of Life walk with women in crisis pregnancies, aid in healing after abortion, lead retreats, speak at a variety of conferences, and above all devote their days to prayer. They were founded in 1991 by John Cardinal O'Connor, the Archbishop of New York, who received a call to found a community that would meet the needs of the day in a culture of death. They are mothers to a world in desperate need of mothers.
