Help Megan and her Girls Rebuild
Donation protected
Early in the morning of Monday the 28th of February Megan, her 2 dogs and Neighbours seeked refuge from flood water on her 2nd storey roof of her home in South Lismore. After 5 hours on the roof waiting for help in the pouring rain they were thankfully rescued by a local in a tin boat and taken to an Evacuation Centre.
Megan couldn't get into contact with two of her daugthers (ages 7 &9) who were with their dad at his home that was also indated with flood water in North Lismore. She feared for their safety with the news that no one had heard from them. After some time and a report of missing children posted all over social media, they were located on a farm at Tullera after being rescued themselves from thier fathers home.
Megan is a dedicated mum to 3 daugthers who has lost everything in this natural disaster. Megan is a caring, vibrant, down to earth community minded woman, whom works as a nurse at our local hospital.
Megan's home suffered significant damage, and she lost all of her and her children's belongings (the girls lost both their mum and dads homes), including her eldest daugthers caravan. We have set up this page to help Megan rebuild her family home after a very traumatic and unforgettable experience.
Please donate what you can to help put money towards a stainless steel kitchen and a caravan for Megan's daugther.
Lots of love the Sistas xx
