Help Megan eat again!

Hi! My name is Hanako and I am fundraising for my best friend Megan Bennett. Megan has been struggling with over 17 different diagnoses over the past few years, one of which is severe gastroparesis. She relies on her feeding tube to help her gain nutrition but currently, she is having issues with pain in her intestines as she tries to run her feeds. She has two young girls ages two and four and struggles at times to care for them because of her health issues. She also has a husband who works long hours, but together they make things work. Her doctors have recommended and all believe that a certain procedure where they would open up the pyloric sphincter in her stomach to allow bile and acid to pass through would help her symptoms tremendously. They also believe that this may allow her to eat small amounts of food without pain and throwing up! She attempted to get the procedure approved by her insurance, and they approved everything but the medication itself. She is already stretched tight with handling twenty-six medications every day and has already gone through twenty-seven surgeries and procedures, so I want to help her gain funds so she can relax and hopefully have the ability to eat again. We would be most grateful for any contribution, big or small, to help her and her family. She is going through a very rough patch right now and feels like giving up. She was devastated when the procedure was denied by insurance and felt very lost because she had gotten her hopes up that it would work out.
