Help Megan Slezak Through This Difficult Time

We are heartbroken to share the tragic news that Micheal Slezak, a devoted husband and father of five, lost his life in a boating accident. Michael was a well-loved teacher and baseball coach at Semmes Middle School, and he spent his life serving others, making everyone feel loved. He never met a stranger! Tragically, his 7-year-old son, Hunter, who attended Tanner Williams Elementary School and was the only boy in his family, is still missing.
Michael wanted to take Hunter shrimping for the first time on Friday night. They were having the best day, catching big shrimp and enjoying their time together. Michael called his wife at 3:30 PM to check in and say they wanted to stay out another hour because they were catching so much. Unfortunately, they never returned home. Michael's body has been found, and crews are still searching for Hunter. This is an unimaginable loss.
The Slezak family is grieving the loss of their husband and father, and their precious only son and brother. Michael and his wife, Megan, had plans to live a long and full life on their farm. Now, those plans have been derailed, and Megan is trying to pick up the pieces and ensure her daughters' needs are met for now and the future, all while grieving.
We are raising funds to help the Slezak family cover all expenses, including funeral costs and the cost of living, during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated. Thank you for your support.
