Help Megan to Thrive again.

Hello all,

I am setting up this fundraiser in the hopes of raising some money for the necessary medical treatment that my sister Megan will need if there is any chance of her returning to a life of normality and the opportunity to thrive again as she once did.

 

My sister’s health deteriorated in January 2021, She then progressively got worse in May 2021. These symptoms continue now and include, but are not limited to:

Severe GERD, Nausea, Epigastric Pain, Chronic headaches, Fatigue, Tremors, Paraesthesia, Tinnitus, Palpitations, Shortness of breath, blood pressure fluctuations, Chest pain, Dizziness, Floaters, Blurred vision, brain fog, low-grade fevers, Numbness and tingling, muscle weakness and pain.

She has since been diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardic syndrome and severe gastroparesis. She is awaiting genetic testing results for connective tissue disorders and seeing a specialist in mast cell activation syndrome.

 

Since this began, Megan has been working 25% less than her contracted work hours.

 

Due to covid the NHS waiting times being extremely long, she has been waiting for follow up appointments for far longer than is acceptable, which leaves her with no choice but to go private; additionally, due to the complexities of some of Megan’s issues, there are limited specialists within the NHS, so she has to seek the help of private specialists.
