Help Meghan & Family During Medical Issues

Donation protected
Hey everyone, I recently went through a medical scare and doctors are still looking for answers. Last Tuesday, I suffered from a seizure where my arm went paralyzed, then numb and was left disoriented and took a couple hours to get feeling back. It then followed with having “orbs” floating in my eyesight then a migraine for two hours that left me extremely nauseas. My insurance cancelled me days before, due to an error on their end, and I have been working to get it reinstated. The next morning my sister in law took me to the ER where they evaluated me and took me back for a CT. The CT showed IIP, idiopathic intercranial hypertension so they ordered a MRI to confirm. I was admitted and began all the testing. Hours later I got the MRI that confirmed the brain hypertension and they requested I have optomology complete an assessment. They came and confirmed I have minor pressure on optical nerves and recommended a lumbar puncture to measure the amount of fluid in my brain. After completing the lumbar puncture they said normal range is 12-15, 20 on the high end and I am at 32. They sent my spinal fluid off to test and see if they could get any more answers along with taking about 16 vials of blood to also test. My spinal fluid came back with white blood cells in there. The doctor said a normal amount is 0-2, I had 81. My blood work showed I was positive for ANA screening which is an indicator for autoimmune disease. I began having severe back pain that I couldn’t move, breath deep, turn or do anything but sit straight up. After heavy medication, steroids, brain fluid reducing medicine, they continued running tests and still are now. I was sent home and have several follow up appointments to attend and insurance to still straighten out. I went from taking no fault medicine to taking 22 pills today. I am not able to work but still have all normal bills due. I likely will have to go onto disability due to not being able to do anything with my severe migraines and constant pain. Even doing that, it will take several months to see anything from that. If you are able to help us out, my family and I would greatly appreciate it. I hate even having to make this, but I am in a place of needing to ask for help. Thank you for reading my story and thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers.
