Help Meghan Fight Kidney Failure! (Stage 5)

It took me a really long time to understand I’m far from perfect. I've tried so hard to make believe my life was everything I've wanted it to be but if I’m being honest I was running from the truth. Now I have no other choice but to stand still and fight. I’m In stage 5 Kidney Failure and I need a kidney in order to live. For the longest time I was in denial that I was even sick. What use is it to panic over something you have no control over, right? Growing up I’ve always been extremely sick (even though I hid it pretty well). At the young age of 11 months I underwent my first surgery to reroute my ureters as my mother and father were told they weren't in the correct spot. This corrective surgery is 98% effective, I belong to the 2% group that it didn’t work on. From there my life has been filled with countless hospital stays, surgeries, and tests but ultimately only one thing will be effective and that's getting a Kidney transplant. I now understand that it's okay my life isnt perfect and it’s also okay to ask for help. I’m asking all of my friends and family to help me share my story in order to spread the word, maybe the person that will grant me the gift of life will be on your timeline!
