Help Mel Ensure Dapper Dad's Safe Journey Home

Greetings! This is to help raise funds for a dear friend of mine and to many. Her name is Mel.

Unfortunately, her Dapper Dad suffered heart failure on 9/24❤️‍ while he was on vacation in South Carolina.

He was taken by ambulance to Trident on Sept 24th. Still in the ICU at Trident, NC.

Per Mel’s post I quote, “injection fraction at 30%, every coronary artery is blocked ranging from 20% to 90%. Global hyperkinesis (?), pulmonary edema. Today he developed a fever/infection, which complicates things even more. He's not stable enough for bypass surgery at the moment. They told us that if his ejection fraction doesn't improve over the next (?) days, bypass surgery would be pointless. They seem hopeful that his heart is "stunned" and will improve in function with time. It blows my mind that a man that plays pickle ball weekly, for many hours in a row, and can run circles around people half his age is now in this position. How is that possible? Pray that his heart heals so he can have surgery. There's no way I am leaving here without him so l guess we're living in SC indefinitely.”

Thankfully Dapper Dad was eventually a candidate for surgery and was in induced coma until Sept 30th.

Dapper Dad is still in the ICU at Trident. They’re trying to get him transferred to another unit in the hospital today (10/7). This Thursday is his goal for release to transfer back to Indiana

Mel and her brother took the emergency flight to South Carolina where their Dapper Dad was staying on vacation. Mel hasn’t been able to work since the day before Dapper Dad had heart failure. So funds are getting slimmer by the day.

Us friends are joining forces to help Mel get her Dapper Dad back to Indiana safe and sound!

As many of you already know, Mel has been a staple in the True Crime Community and has helped countless victims, including myself, find hope and support. She is too humble to ask for help but we can’t let her suffer in silence.

➡️What she needs is a three row vehicle to transfer Dapper Dad safely and comfortably back from

South Carolina to Indiana.

➡️With rental fees, gas, food, and possible overnight hotel costs, it could range from $3-$5000.

I hope no one has to endure the heartache(pun not intended) of seeing a dear loved one go through what Mel and her brother has last week, this week… and the weeks to come.

No one plans for this event. And no one saw this coming either since Dapper Dad is in such amazing shape.

⚠️But this could happen to any of us.⚠️

For her to give her heart, time and money to help those in need… let us have the opportunity to give back in the most humble of times that will touch her the most.
