Help Melanie Overcome Tragic Loss of her son & dad

My name is Brooke Bairos, and I'm setting up this account on behalf of Melanie Beardsley. If you know Melanie, you know she is a compassionate animal lover, a friend who always goes above and beyond, a devoted mother to two boys - Ryan and Marcus, and an inspiring taekwondo student & instructor, is known for her selflessness. She’s the kind of person who would give you the shirt off of her back without a second thought. In the face of the unimaginable, she needs our support.

At the begining of July, Melanie's father was diagnosed with cancer. Being the person she is, she dropped everything to be with him and to help sort out details and medical care. While his prognosis wasn't great, she understood he would have a few months to live. Unfortunately, he passed just 1 week later. She had been spending time at her dad's house after his passing to clean out his home and sort out legal details, alongside her brother Michael, when she received a phone call Saturday morning that her son Ryan had been in a longboarding accident. Sadly Ryan succumbed to his injuries and just over 1 week after losing her father, she has lost her first-born child.

In the face of such heartbreaking circumstances - the loss of her father and her son Ryan, all in a week's time, Melanie needs our support. Already, she has missed a few weeks of work due these unexpected events. Now she will have tons of added expenses in the upcoming weeks between medical bills, funeral arrangements, and more missed time at work. I'm hoping that this page will provide some financial relief as she goes through undoubtedly the hardest time of her life. I know it will mean so much to her.
