Help Eliza Provide School Supplies for Underprivileged Kids

Hello, I am Elizabeth Rivera, a passionate CHS student who believes in the transformative power of education to lift individuals out of poverty. Growing up in Latin America, I witnessed firsthand the challenges that many children face in accessing education.
My father, at just six years old, had to walk an hour through the mountains to school with his siblings, only to return home the same way. His school, characterized by an old building and a dusty courtyard, lacked electricity and essential resources. Unfortunately, this situation has not changed much, as many children in rural areas still face a shortage of educational materials and must walk long distances to attend small schools, often taught by a single teacher who manages multiple grades.
This reality has driven me to advocate for education in underprivileged communities. I am honored to serve as the fundraiser manager for "The Traveler Gift," a high school initiative that provides educational resources—school supplies, books, and technology—to children from low-income backgrounds. These resources not only enhance their learning experiences but also pave the way for brighter futures.
You can make a profound impact by supporting this vital cause and empowering children with the tools for effective learning. The funds raised through our GoFundMe campaign will directly support "La Reforma," a small rural elementary school in Colombia. There, one dedicated teacher inspires seven bright and determined students. With just $120, you can fully equip a child and help them reach their potential.
I encourage you to consider contributing and sharing this link with your network to help amplify our message and expand our community of education advocates.
Thank you for your support!
