Help Melissa and David Get Back On Their Feet

Melissa and David need your help to move into a rental home!! They have been through a number of extreme difficulties the past five years.  What started out as a small blister on Melissa's left toe has turned into a five year ordeal. The blister got infected and continued to spread until Melissa was forced to be hospitalized in February of 2016. From February 2016 until April of 2018 Melissa enduring many surgeries and was in and out of the hospital. David was in and out of work during this time as well as he needed to help Melissa who was wheelchair bound.

In May of 2018 Melissa went through reconstructive surgery on her foot in which a number of metal plates were placed to replace destroyed bone. Finally, in December of 2018 after nearly two years of battling with constant infections, surgeries and pain, Melissa's foot was amputated. She did rejoice to be out of the hospital in time to celebrate New Years 2019 with her family. While Melissa felt better for a short period, a series of health issues forced her back into the hospital in February of 2019 at which time a surgeon causes more damage than good during gall bladder surgery. Melissa has continued to be hospitalized on and off since that time with David at her side. 

Despite all the difficulties, Melissa and David remain positive and continue to trust that God has a bigger plan through all of this. Let's come together and help this amazing couple realize their dream of moving into a rental home in March!
