Help Melissa Escape the UK

Hello,

My name is Melissa and I'm a 24 year old trans women from the UK.

My goal for this fundraiser is to raise enough money to move out of the UK to Massachusetts to live with my wonderful fiancée.

Every day the UK gets worse and worse for trans peeps and while the US isn't much better at least I can be with my fiancée.

I've been unemployed for 8 years, and just started my final year at university, and as such will soon be forced to move back home with my parents... Doing this would probably kill me as my parents cause me northing but stress and despair and being trapped with them will not end well for me.

Q: So why £5k, that's a lot of money?

A: Yes, yes it is, in fact that's more money than I've ever had in my bank account at once!!

But...

£1.5k of that is for plane and train tickets to get out of the country

£1.5k to pay off all my bank debts in the UK so I can leave without the debt following me internationally

£2k is to cover the extra costs of shipping items transatlantic, various living costs while I work to get out, and pay for visa and other immigration expenses
