Melody’s Breast Cancer Journey

Thank you for joining us on Mel's journey. One major goal is to help raise money for Mel's cancer and its ugly, unexpected medical expenses that has and will continue to come with it. Mel was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of December. She has undergone several procedures, lumpectomy surgery, and will soon undergo 4-6 weeks of daily radiation treatment.

None of us want to get this type of diagnosis let alone find out your insurance will not cover your surgery or any other non-covered costs. In this horrible predicament, Mel has also had to re-evaluate her insurance coverage resulting in a $800 per month higher premium cost, which still does not fully cover costs!
