Help Melvin Heal After Tragic Accident

My name is Ashly. My brother Melvin and his new wife Daniela were in a horrific car accident on July 17th, 2024 on their way back home from their honeymoon. They were making their way south on I-10 when their car spun out and hit a tree. Melvin was thrown into the back seat and crushed by the impact of the tree.

By the grace of God Daniela made it out with only a few bumps and bruises but unfortunately my brother Melvin has sustained very severe injuries.

He has broken his spine, pelvis, left arm and both ribs. He had internal bleeding and had to have emergency surgery to remove part of his spleen. His lungs are bruised and he was immediately intubated and sedated because of the severity of his injuries. Melvin is currently in ICU but stable.

He has a very long road to recovery and several surgeries coming up. Work will not be an option for him for several months at the very least as he heals.

I’m hoping this can help ease some of the financial stresses for him so he can completely focus on recovery.
