Help Melvina pay off her Wells Fargo Student loan

Donation protected
My name is Melvina King and I am currently awaiting to graduate from a Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy Program in September, in Ireland. I chose Ireland due to lower costs and the want to gain experience living abroad. Upon graduation the plan is to hopefully get a job in Ireland as I would qualify to work as a Physiotherapist, without taking an exam. In the event that I would not be able to get a job, I plan on moving back to the states and resuming work as a caregiver and an Athletic Trainer, if with the current stage of the virus I am able to cover practices and games as an Athletic Trainer. Because I did not attend a program in the US, or one that is recognized by the board. I would have to wait about 6 months for the federal credentialing board to verify my transcripts, in order for me to take the Physical therapy certification exam. Because of this I am unable to work/take the test right away as a Physical therapist.

So, onto this loan. Back when I was in undergrad, I had to take out a private Wells Fargo loan, due to not getting enough financial aid. In regard to Wells Fargo they want their money asap, and I want them out of my life. With some additional resources I am able to pay off most of this loan but there is still an amount that I would need additional assistance with. I have to also think about having enough finances to pay rent, bills and other essentials.

Paying off this loan is very important to me so that I can be financially free and be able to focus on my federal student loans.

Like most people I want to be free of loans. I would like to do work abroad as a Physical Therapist, in Liberia where my parents are from and I visited for the first time back in December. I am very proud of my Liberian roots and I would like to work with healthcare workers in Physical Therapy and rehabilitation, in order to gain additional knowledge from healthcare workers and experience in working with different populations and in different healthcare systems. I want to be able to take time and work in Liberia, without having to worry about working so much stateside to pay student loans and not having any time to do work abroad.

Going to Liberia and working with other medical professionals in the realm of rehabilitation is very important to me. I want to be able like most people who pursue work in the medical field to make a difference in the lives of others through medical care. Eventually I would like to get involved in setting up a pro bono rehabilitation clinic with others, in Liberia and hopefully be a part of the creation of a Physical Therapy program in Liberia.

I would be very grateful if you could donate any amount or if you can share this fundraiser it would be very helpful. To those of you who have already given thank you so much, you have no idea how much this means to me. This would help to take a huge load off my back and also help me to be able to work in Liberia and contribute to the field of Physical Therapy there. Again, thank you much.
