Help us Memorialize Pauline, Paula and Marianne's Gravestone

Donation protected

Greetings, My name is Sonya Paz and my childhood friends were murdered in 1969 and we are asking for your generosity to help us memorialize the lives of Pauline, Paula and Marianne Pearson with a gravestone that they never had.
Their lives were tragically cut short at the hands of the husband and father “James Arthur Pearson” on September 22, 1969.
It's been 50 years and the daughters have never had their names associated on their grave.

When the Pearson women's bodies were discovered more than four years later buried under the family home in Santa Clara, California, their story was just beginning and the investigation began, most importantly they never got an opportunity to have their story told in detail.

Relatives from Pennsylvania had their bodies transported back to Pauline's birthplace of Natrona Heights, PA where modest burial services were held in April 1974.
However, since Pauline was former military of the Women's Army Corps, she was awarded a standard issue military grave marker and it only had her name on it. Her daughters Paula and Marianne are all buried together, unfortunately the daughters were not included on the marker and we want to be sure that they are all memorialized respectfully, it's been over 50 years since their burials.

This GoFundMe is for anyone that can find it in their hearts to donate toward the cost of a new marker for their grave so they can forever be remembered accordingly. The costs for a new gravestone includes the gravestone, extra names, additional wording and the installation fees. The turnaround time is approx 2-3 months and we hope to reach our goal so that we can have the memorial installed by September 2024.

If you want to know the entire story of this tragic tale, it is chronicled and told my me and my Co-host Marek through our Podcast "Investigated" and what James Arthur Pearson did after he fled the scene - to only cause havoc and mayhem to other families throughout the US while evading authorities for nearly 10 years.

Please note that these ladies were my childhood friends and after years of wondering what happened, we are telling their story to celebrate their lives and keep their memories alive. Our podcast is an independent "Labor of Love" project that is not funded through any type of media company or organization, therefore any donation you can to help with grave marker costs is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please connect with us.

With gratitude and respect,
Sonya Paz and Marek Kasprzyk
