Help Merrick Deville Pay Her Medical Bills

I'm Merrick Deville's partner, Aidan. I'm sure many of you know Merrick from her political work: She's sharp, she's funny, and she's so, so stubborn. She's the love of my life.

You may not know that Merrick was physically and sexually abused in her childhood and young adulthood. She has cPTSD, depression, and chronic pain. She is also an alcoholic.

On August 8th, she attempted to end her life.

Merrick is safe and stable. She rode an ambulance to the emergency room, which held her for 36 hours. She's currently an inpatient at a psychiatric hospital. She's very happy to be alive.

It's expensive to survive suicide in America. The EMS ride, the ER visit, and the psych ward stay will cost over $4,000 -- far more than she can afford to pay right now.
