Help Us Rebuild After the Eaton Fire
Below are some photos of what is left of my childhood home and the fire visible from the yard

Hi, my name is Merris Beadle. I was born and raised in Altadena, California, in a house where my father still lives. While I'm currently finishing college in Denver, Colorado, most of my belongings were stored at that house, with plans to return to them someday.
On January 8, 2025, the Eaton Fire destroyed our home, leaving my father and myself with nothing. Although we are both safe, everything we had was lost in the blaze. This has been an incredibly difficult time for us, as I’ve been working hard to support my family while trying to make my way in the world.
At this moment, we are uncertain about what comes next, but we're staying strong and hopeful. I’m reaching out for help as we try to rebuild and figure out our future.
The funds will go to emergency relief for my father and towards my educational expenses so I can stay in school through this tragedy.
Anything you can contribute, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support.
Much love,
Merris Beadle

This fundraiser is for me, Merris Beadle, and my father, Earl Beadle, to cover expenses for purchasing essential supplies, replacing necessary items, and addressing basic costs in order to recover some of the losses and damages after his house—my childhood home—was burned to the ground just hours after my father was first informed that he needed to evacuate. I will be sending him the funds via Zelle through Wells Fargo to distribute the funds between us.
