Help Mia Compete in South Korea

Since six years old I've dedicated my athletic life to Taekwondo. Throughout the years, with hard work and my mom's support, I achieved my first black belt at 10 years old. I've continued to do Taekwondo, participating in local tournaments, and winning first place in both sparring and form. I've recently been presented with an opportunity to compete in an international tournament being held in South Korea. Although this opportunity will strengthen my skills and deepen my experience, it is an economic challenge for my Mom. The overall cost is $8,400 which is needed for us both to attend and participate in this "golden" opportunity. Therefore, I’ve without question, decided to give up celebrating both my 8th grade graduation and 14th birthday. Instead, I am humbly asking family and friends for help in funding this trip. These monetary gifts will assist us in covering airfare, transportation, hotel, food, tournament gear, the tournament fee, and most importantly, special training from national team masters from South Korea. I never thought I would reach this point in my Taekwondo journey and your help will encourage me to reach a higher level of achievement. Every and any donation is greatly appreciated.
