Help Mia Fight Endometriosis and PCOS

Donation protected

My name is Dorie, and my 22-year-old daughter Mia has Endometriosis and PCOS. I am a single mother, with loving friends and family that have made being a mom during tough times possible. Mia has her big sister Grace:
And a gentle army of loving friends and supportive family:

Almost 2 years ago she underwent surgery (with generous help from so many friends and family) to remove as much endometriosis as possible and additional tumors. That surgery helped help her return to a level of health where she would be able to function and care for herself with work and stay active in her volunteer ministry endeavors. Many thanks also to Doctor Jones and his support staff for their efforts and expertise.
Mia has had to adjust her work and lifestyle in the last year as her endometriosis aggressively regrew and spread. As Mia is a family manager, personal assistant, and caregiver for employment, her ability to work has shrunk due to her being unable to physically fulfill work responsibilities. She has also been diagnosed with Lupus in the last year. Though she is treating and managing her lupus, it makes her endometriosis flare-ups even more impactful, and the combination of the two diseases creates often unmanageable immobility and pain that restrain her ability to work regularly or have regular activity in general. After months of hormone therapy and various unsuccessful treatments, her health has declined to the point that she will need more extreme medical help to slow and possibly stop the growth of the endometriosis. After exhausting all options, Mia will need a Hysterectomy This procedure will include removing as much endometriosis tissue as possible in hopes of preventing regrowth, or at least minimizing and slowing growth to a manageable and livable level.

This decision has been serious and difficult to reach. To make matters even more complicated, the hospital where her doctor can practice does not accept her insurance, so she will have to provide the cost of the surgery without any help from insurance.

Mia is scheduled to have surgery on Friday, April 14th, 2023, less than two years since her last surgery. This surgery now will remove the uterus, abnormal growth, polyps, tumors, and adhesions, with the positive hope of relieving her of much pain and resulting immobility.

We as a family are asking for assistance with funding the hospital fees, and the doctor's fees, which will need to be paid upfront but will be paid in full at a cash rate. Though we as a family have some limited funds, we do not have anywhere near what she needs to pay for this surgery and the hospital/doctor bills.

Thank you so much for reading, and thank you so much for any help you can contribute. Mia and her family greatly appreciate your time and assistance!
Please spread awareness and support about endometriosis and PCOS, as it affects millions of women.
