Help Mia Study Abroad for Fall 2023

Hello everyone,
My name is Mia Vargas-Apalit. I transferred to Sonoma State University in the fall of 2022 after obtaining my Associate’s Degree from my local community college.
With only two years to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Sonoma State, I did not believe I had the time or flexibility within my major to study abroad. However, I was able to rearrange my courses to be accepted into the Master of Management program at the EM Normandie Business School in Oxford, England this Fall 2023 semester!
This Fall semester at EM Normandie’s Oxford campus will be my first opportunity to visit Europe, explore and discover as much as possible, all while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Marketing.
The university has very limited housing accommodations dedicated to students, especially for one-semester students like myself.
I have been working part-time while attending classes as a full-time student to allow me to save up as much as possible. However, as an international foreign exchange student that will be in the country for less than 6 months, I am unable to work while being abroad and continue earning my own money.
I aim to raise $7,000, which will help cover my expenses while abroad in Oxford. I appreciate any contribution that can be provided to help me reach my goal. Your contributions will not only alleviate the financial burden of housing but also allow me to dedicate my focus to completing my degree. I kindly ask if you could share this campaign with friends and others that may be interested in helping me further my education.
Thank you for your time and help.
Best,
