Help Micah, Megan, and Shaeleigh secure a HOME!!

On January 30th, 2021, Micah left to go on a charity ride to help another person. Giving his time and money to help someone else affected by tragedy. On his way home coming through a 4 way, Micah was driving straight. A distracted driver took a left turn hitting Micah and ultimately altering his and his family's way of living. As police arrived Micah was unresponsive and was believed to be deceased, however God had a a different plan for Micah. His mission in this life was not done. Due to the severity of the hit Micah was life flighted to Pensacola, Fl to a trauma center where he'd treated for his injuries. Upon arrival it was determined that his bladder had been ruptured during the hit. This was the injury that sent Micah in to his first of many surgeries. He also had titanium placed in his collar bone, left arm, left elbow, tailbone and femur. His injuries also included a concussion, several broken ribs, and bruised lungs. Due to the extensiveness of his injuries Micah had absolutely no mobility and remained in the hospital for 2 weeks before he could go home.

Even being home Micah and Megan faced many struggles. Due to Micah's immobility Megan also had to leave her job and be Micah's 24/7 caregiver as well as care for their 12 year old daughter. This was a particularly complicated time for them as most of their family and support system lived in GA, six hours away. Megan had the weight of the world on her shoulders and I couldn't be more proud of how she just did what needed to be done. Even when tears came she still did. Throughout this whole ordeal Micah has had to have at least 12 surgeries. Due to an infection in his femur his healing time was slowed down tremendously. Seven months after Micah's accident he was still unable to stand or walk due to complications involving infections. The infection prevented all bone growth and doctor's said it looked like it had just been broke. He had zero bone growth.
This has affected their entire lives physically, emotionally and financially. As family we wanted to step in and help where we could, so through my own personal tragedy of losing my dad whom was also disable, I came up with a plan. I wanted Micah and Megan to be able to get back to Ga (which was also their desire) and be able to be stress free for the first time in almost a year. So, we've been given the option of buying my dad's house outright for them but we need help.
Every cent in this fund raiser will go to Micah and Megan and allowing them to get on their feet. We wanna help them have money to live until their move on Nov 19th, we need to pay for a u-haul, gas, the home, and I want them to know they are secure to breath, find their footing and get back to a less stressful life. Some of these funds will also be helping make sure they have food and their sweet Shaeleigh a Christmas. Hearing someone say their kid won't have a Christmas broke my heart. We don't need a few people to do a lot we need a lot of people to just do a little. In a world where we can be anything let's be kind and help Micah, Megan and Shaeleigh.
