Help Michael Cooper Heal After His Tragic Accident

Hi Everyone,

One of our United Airlines Flight Attendants and dear friend was in a terrible accident on Friday evening and is in need of our help. Michael Cooper was one of my first friends during training and a dear friend to many. He is an SFO based FA and was involved in a hit and run by a drunk driver while in Scottsdale, AZ. They immediately transferred him to a Trauma/ICU unit on a ventilator. He remained on the ventilator until this morning. He is currently awake but paralyzed. They are unsure if the paralysis is permanent and are continuing to run more tests. Until they have more answers, he will remain on oxygen and closely monitored in the ICU.

Medical bills are going to keep rolling in, they are unsure if he will ever return to the skies, and he is his only income. His mother is in town from Florida and is staying at his apartment. She visits him daily but has to take uber/Lyft since he no longer has a vehicle. I am setting up this GoFundMe on his behalf to help aid in this difficult time.
