Help Mike Hynson’s partner, Carol in time of need

Hi everyone,

I'm writing today with a heavy heart. Earlier today, we lost Michael Hynson, my mom, Carol, partner of 24 years. He was not only a beloved partner but also the brilliant mind behind the modern-day surf culture and a star in the classic movie "Endless Summer”; Despite his significant contributions, Michael did not receive any financial benefits or recognition from the film, even though it remains a classic.

Michael was a contributor to their household finances, and his passing has left a huge void. My mother, Carol who has been his caretaker for the past 10 years, is currently recovering from a heart attack and seizure, making it impossible for her to work.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help support my mom during this incredibly tough time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and help ease the financial burden she is facing.
