Help Michael Karle recover

On September 8th 2020, our amazing husband, father, uncle, pappy,brother, was hit by a truck while he was out for his daily walk. He had to be flown to cooper hospital in Camden, NJ where he was found to have multiple injuries including a fracture skull, brain bleed, fracture ribs, shoulder, and hips. Over the first 24 hours things got extremely critical and the brain bleed was causing so much pressure on his brain that he threw up causing him to aspirate. He then unfortunately was put on a ventilator. Things have been a roller coaster since. He was on a ventilator over a little over 2 weeks, there was times they were going to wean him of a few times  but he was just to weak... he then developed a pneumonia and had a 105 fever, he has to have cooling blankets and a ton of very strong antibiotics. After a scary few days he began to come around, he was taken off the ventilator briefly but had to be put back on and ended up needing a tracheotomy.  He has been so strong threw all this and fighting every minute to get threw each day. His wife and children and family have been there for him every step of the way. We are looking at many months ahead , Mike has a long recovery ahead of him. He is still in the hospital battling pneumonia, fevers and feeding issues. We are asking for anyone to please if they can help support Mike and his wife thru the next few months, there has been a lot of cost with medical bills, back and forth to the hospital, investigations of the accident. Mike has been in the US Air Force his entire life and served protecting our Country. His family will be so very greatful for anything that anyone can give to support his fight to get his life back as he knew it. Please keep him in your prayers, we need him here.
