Help Michael rebuild his home and studio
Spende geschützt
Michael Rene's home and music studio burned up in an early morning house fire.
The equipment in his studio was left uninsured after the decline of work following Covid lockdowns forced him to delay insurance registration, and he has lost over 7 years of financial and creative work.
Please consider making a donation to help Michael rebuild his life and continue his musical activity.
Thank you,
David Brown & Dave Monette

A message from the Canadian Organizer:
My name is David Brown and I am a professional bass player in Vancouver, Canada. I am a member of the Vancouver Symphony, The Turning Point Ensemble and I am the former President of the Vancouver Musician's Association. Dave Monette, trumpet maker extraordinaire of the Portland based Monette Corp., and I have started this campaign on behalf of a young friend of ours Michael Rene. Last week we were shocked to hear from Michael that the home he and his family were renting had suddenly caught fire in the early morning and that they had only narrowly escaped, all their possessions having been destroyed.
Over the past few years Michael had been working tirelessly to fulfill his dream of having a fully equipped music rehearsal and recording studio. As a talented pianist and trumpet player he was working long hours each day in further developing his musical talents to become a multi instrumentalist, composer and producer. While there are some musicians who play several instruments very well it is considerably rarer to see someone intent on becoming accomplished on so many different instruments! This is a daunting proposition and requires tremendous energy and daily dedication to achieve. We have both admired Michael's conviction in realizing this dream.
Losing all of his expensive musical instruments and recording equipment in this terrible accident is a tremendous setback to him. Our hope is that you will be inspired by Michael's dedication to his vision and life's calling and that you will want to help support him in getting back on his feet again. Please consider making any donation that you can.
