Help Michael Say Goodbye to His Mom

UPDATE: We are still in need of $300 for traveling expenses (anything over that, if anything, will go towards funeral expenses). But we are turning off donations as donations won’t get to us by the time we need to leave. Hi. My name is Michael. I'm from Maine, and the Army brought me to Texas where I never left. Life has been hard financially, and I haven’t been home in a very long time. My Mom is now being put into hospice care and the doctors are saying they don’t think she has more than a week to live. Her body is too weak and they are taking her off all her meds and transferring her to hospice sometime between today and Monday, if she even lives that long.

I would really love to go home and be with my Dad and maybe even get to say goodbye to my Mom or at least be there for the funeral and help with funeral expenses but I financially cannot afford it. I have a wife and 4 kids at home that I support and taking money would mean not being able to pay our house or utilities or put food on the table. We don’t really have an emergency account to fall back on. If anyone can help, whether it’s a few dollars and/or sharing this, anything will help. Thank yall in advance.
