"Michele Ader Family" Donation Fund

"A battle is won when the weapons are provided. My mom, Michele, has the faith but not the means financially. "

My mom, Michele, was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in November of 2016. It hit our family suddenly, not only emotionally, but financially too. Since November of 16' she has been taking chemo treatments once a week. She only had 3 treatments left of her 18 weeks, when she fell sick with a cold. After about 2 weeks after her cold she was hospitalized once again and the Doctors told her there was a mass on her kidneys causing her excruciating side pains. They conducted a biopsy that came back saying the cancer was back and "agressive." Her Dr. is stumped from such good results through her past few months of chemo as to why it would come back so fast. To keep my mom out of all the pain during her new chemo regimen, she is on several different medications that are hardly affordable even with discounted help. My mom has been denied on a few different avenues for financial help and the costs are too much with only 1 income from her husband, my dad, Josh.

My mom is  a hard worker who has always kept a job and maintained a home for my brother and I.  In 2010 my parents wed after making huge life changes and struggled to come out on top, but they did it! Now they are the Christian loving people that not only myself or my brother seek to for advice, but our family and friends as well.  Many know that my dad was the first to turn to Jesus but it wasn't too long after that my mom put her faith in the Lord.  Through all of this mess my mom keeps a positive attitude and but she has her emotionally draining days as well.  To see my mom cry and ask "why am I being punished?" Or "Why is this happening after I changed my life?" is the most gut wrenching feeling I have ever had.  But to hear my dad say "hunny, you're not being punished, God is not punishing you, these things happen all the time, cancer is something we can't control, it's a part of life,"  weighed on my heart because of the strong 24 years of love they have for one another.  My mom and dad walked hand in hand through struggles, good times, children, grandchildren, reaching out to the Lord and marriage and this is true love.  I hate to see my parents be more worried about what bills they still have to pay whether the cancer is here or not.  My mom shouldn't have to worry and my dad should be able to walk hand in hand through this huge change in life with my mom instead of working so hard or stressimg to make ends meet while she is out of work.  Sadly, the main concern for my mom isn't the cancer as much as it is her bills.   My parents have always helped those in need whenever they could.  They have always given the shirt off their back to help someone less fortunate than them.  As a daughter, I am asking that we return the favor to my mom and dad by helping them financially to get through this tough time  and kick Cancers Butt!

We are very grateful to have been receiving the help we have gotten from donations from her family, friends, employers and clients of hers. My mom was planning on getting back to work in the salon in February of 17, but sadly that isn't going to happen as soon as she'd hoped. Any donation makes a difference for someone as hardworking and grateful as my mom and dad!♡
