Update: I am overwhelmed by how quickly we were able to exceed our goal. Yesterday, I told Michele that is made this GoFundMe and she was elated. We did some research and were able to buy the newest model, as well as signing her back up for the service Cricut offers for additional software create tools. Thank you, thank you and thank you!
I am going back to the well, as it were, because the laptop she's been using is very old and not able to run Windows 11. Windows 10 will no longer be supported in October, meaning no security updates, which means it will not be safe to be Internet connected. I'm setting a budget of $750 for that and increasing our goal.

As many of you know, my wonderful spouse, Michele, has health challenges that limit her activities in life.
One of her greatest joys is crafting. She makes so many things, pouring her heart into them:
- Greeting cards
- Scripture Decks: These are decorated cards with scriptures printed on them that she gives to friends or sells to raise money for charity.
- Journals: These are themed books that she's made for friends to collect memories of trips, life events, or even to remember loved ones that have passed on.
One of her principal tools is, or was, a Cricut Maker machine. This is a device that connects to her computer and will cut out custom designs on a variety of materials; paper, vinyl, etc.
Her old one finally wore out, and they are not designed to be repaired. I tried, and made it worse.
So, I'm launching my first GoFundMe in the hopes of raising $500 to get her a new machine (~$300), other accessories and crafting supplies. Any thing left will go towards funding the hosting fees for the cancerchicks website, https://www.cancerchicks.com/
