Help a Family Reunite: Support Michelle, Adam, and Their Children

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit our page. We are foster parents who have been caring for two wonderful children — a 1 1/2-year-old we affectionately call Pumpkin and a 4-year-old named Angel. When these children came into our care, we felt compelled to step in and help, even though we were planning to focus on building our own family. The previous foster family was facing health challenges and could no longer continue, and we wanted to ensure that these kids would be in a stable and loving environment.

Their parents, Michelle (23) and Adam (30), have been working hard to turn their lives around after a difficult period. Over a year ago, They made some mistakes that resulted in the children being placed into foster care. Since then, both parents have been making great strides. Adam has been working full-time as a cook and staying and doing good, and they have been doing everything required to be reunified with their children.

Recently, however, they faced another setback. Michelle and Angel were involved in a car accident while on their way back from a movie. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, but insurance totaled the car in the accident and, unfortunately, wasn't worth much. This loss has added another significant financial hurdle for them, making it even more challenging to secure stable housing and transportation — both critical steps in their journey to reunification.

Our foster license ends in November, and we are deeply concerned that without a stable home and reliable transportation, the children may be moved to another foster family or even out of the county. We want to do everything we can to prevent them from being uprooted again.

We are reaching out to ask for your help. Any contribution, whether it's $1, $10, or $100, will go directly towards helping Michelle and Adam secure an apartment or a home and get a reliable car to support their family. I will personally oversee the use of these funds to ensure they are spent wisely and directly benefit the family. Our goal is to provide these children with the stability they deserve by helping their parents create a safe and loving home.
