Help Michelle and Jace Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
For several years, I’ve had the blessing of getting to know and pray alongside my friend Michelle at Bible Studies through Journey Church.
The day after Thanksgiving, Michelle Cooper and her child lost their rental home and all their belongings to a house fire in Murray. They were not home during the fire, so they are alive and well, and for that, Michelle said she is “grateful to God!” She is the sweetest soul and such a wonderful mother to Jace.
Further complicating the situation, she is a single mom and her 11-year-old son is Autistic. If you are a parent of a special needs child, you know all too well the additional stress and complications this adds to an already difficult road when these children are not in their home or “safe space.” This makes an already stressful time more challenging with so much loss to deal with and for a child that can’t completely grasp the severity of the situation.
They are currently staying in a friend's home, but will most certainly need their own space. Anyone who is aware of rental properties available in the Murray school district, please feel free to pass along the info or contact me.
They are without a home, which equals normalcy, calm, and safety to Jace, but are also in great need of all the belongings, necessities, toiletries, food, clothing, etc. that one needs on a daily basis, not to mention the cost of rent to get back on their feet.
Please pray for this sweet family and let’s pour some generosity on them during this most stressful time. Thank you in advance for your help!
