Help Michelle & Andrew Cover Their Expenses

Donation protected
My name is Nicole. I am starting this fundraiser with hopes of gathering donations together for my friends Michelle and Andrew, who are going through an unbelievably difficult time.
Michelle Narducci is a dear friend of mine. If you are not lucky enough to know Michelle, I can tell you that she is kind, loving, talented, thoughtful, super smart and giving. Truly one of a kind with a larger-than-life personality and unmatched sense of humor. Her laugh alone literally brightens up a room and she is the type of person whose quick wit and hilarity will keep you laughing until you cannot breathe. Her fiancee Andrew is equally as awesome - sweet, funny, gentle, and caring. They are two peas in a pod and have been inseperable since they got together a few years ago. Together they make a beautiful couple and have plans to be married in the fall of 2023.
Unfortunately, Michelle and Andrew have suffered so much loss in the past few years, with Michelle losing both of her beloved parents way prematurely and just a couple of years apart (Bob in 2018 and Nettie in 2021), and Andrew losing his mother very suddenly as well in September of 2021. I thank God these two have one another because I don't know how either of them would've gotten through such heartbreak otherwise. I know it's been so difficult for them, but the love and companionship they share has brought both of them at least some kind of solace. Though there is still much more healing to be done, they were both finally just starting to focus on their wedding plans and begin to shift their attention to a brighter future, together.
However, just this past week, Michelle and Andrew were dealt another unimaginable blow. Andrew was rushed to the ER for a bad headache and after some tests, the doctors discovered a tumor on his brain the size of a Clementine. Today, Tuesday 2/22, he underwent a biopsy and major brain surgery, and neurosurgeons were able to remove 90% of the tumor. But the tumor is deep-seeded in his brain and the biopsy came back positive for cancer. His prognosis is unknown at the moment, but regardless, painful chemo and radiation will be next for poor Andrew, who is so young and was seemingly completely fine and healthy less than one week ago.
Michelle, being the phenomenal caretaker that she is, has taken an unpaid leave of absence from work, so that she may be by Andrew's side every step of this unimaginably difficult journey that is ahead of them, just as she did while she cared for both of her parents on their literal deathbeds. With both Michelle and Andrew out of work, their bills and living expenses are going to pile up incredibly fast. While Andrew does have medical insurance, they are hoping to take him into Manhattan for a second opinion, which may come with hefty out-of-network costs, not to mention anything else that insurance will not cover. I do not need to go into much detail about how costly and unbelievably stressful life is about to get for these two.
While we cannot cure Andrew, we can at least try to lessen his and Michelle's financial burden while they try to navigate through this horrific time. I am asking for help in raising funds to cover any and everything that they may need help with, from medical expenses to rent to gas to a cup of Dunkin Donuts iced coffee, and everything in between, that Michelle would so responsibly see fit.
Please consider donating to this lovely couple who is being dealt horrible hand after horrible hand. They should be planning and saving up for their wedding, but instead will now be devoting all of their time, energy and money to this brain cancer diagnosis and the difficult days to come.
I can tell you, as a person who has suffered a fair share of loss myself, that admitting you need help and accepting money from people who want to help you, is NOT an easy thing to do- but knowing people support you and care enough to give, makes a HUGE difference. Even the smallest donation can help and is so appreciated.
I cannot explain why life seems to be so unfair to such good people. All I know is, kindness and generosity shown toward them in their darkest moments will absolutely help get them through.
Michelle and Andrew deserve to live a happy, long life together. With our help, hopefully they can overcome this horrific burden and be back on the road to doing just that.
On behalf of Michelle, Andrew, and all who love them, I thank you for taking the time to read this and for being willing to give to help us reach our goal. It is greatly appreciated and means so much more than you know.
