Help Michelle beat COVID (F! Covid)

December 1st, 2021 was a day that changed Michelle and her family’s life in a big way! Michelle has been an ER nurse for going on 5 years and has been an RN for almost 15 years. She was so proud to put on her nursing uniform and “get it !” As she would say before every shift.
She has helped so many people in her career; one she chose because she wanted to make a small difference wherever she could. From the time the pandemic started until her hospitalization she was a frontline healthcare worker saving lives, never thinking about herself. But just a few days after celebrating her 50th birthday Michelle fell Ill and tested positive for Covid. On December 6th, she was admitted into the hospital and fought hard, but her body just needed a break, so On December 14th, 2021 she was intubated and put on a ventilator. On the 14th day, God shined his light on her AND on us and was given a tracheostomy and brought out of sedation.
The road to recovery is long and hard and we’d like for her to focus on getting better rather than stressing over what is or isn’t being taken care of at home. Now that she finds herself in a COVID ICU unit fighting daily to save her own life, stress has become as big as the virus for her.
Michelle is currently not able to work and her job is also not paying or covering any expenses due to COVID. Her insurance premiums are now having to get paid out of pocket every two weeks to continue her coverage, coverage that is essential to her complete recovery.
Michelle’s Family and friends are all so appreciative of the overwhelming love, support, and prayers they have received throughout this terrifying time. Anything raised from her will go towards her insurance, Medical bills and household expenses. We thank you for your continued prayers and support. ❣️
