Help Michelle Beat Lung Cancer!

My name is Christine and I am Michelle's sister-in-law. The main reason I'm starting this GoFundMe is to help Michelle (and her husband/my brother, Marc) be able to buy the adjustable bed they now need in order for Michelle to be able to sleep. When she lays flat, she's in too much pain and it's too hard to breathe for her to be able to sleep. She's been through a lot over the last few months and there's more to come - sleep is an absolutely critical part of recovery. There are, of course, many bills. But thankfully Marc's insurance has been doing a pretty good job of paying for treatment (so far). However, they have now realized they have a new need that they are not able to cover and insurance won't either - the right bed. My hope is this GoFundMe can change that. Here is Michelle's story, in her own words:
"On April 19, 2019, I was diagnosed with stage 2 Adenocarcinoma of the lungs. I had a lobectomy on April 24th and found out I also had cancer in my lymph nodes. I was then diagnosed with Stage 3 Adenocarcinoma. On October 24th, I had a 2 wedge resection of the left lung. Then on November 11th, I contracted bacterial pneumonia of the left lung. I was admitted to the local hospital in Doylestown via their Emergency Room and I had to have a lung drainage tube inserted immediately. I was then transported to Fox Chase on November 14th. I had another surgery on the 16th - a lung wash to clean out the bacterial infection and to have 2 more lung drainage tubes put in. After 15 days in Fox Chase hospital, I came home and I am recovering well. I'm due to start radiation just after Christmas."
Any donation is welcome, none are too small. All funds will go directly to Marc and Michelle to buy this very needed new bed. The sooner we can meet this goal and make this happen, the sooner Michelle can get the rest she needs to heal everything her body has been through and to get through the next phase of her treatment. Any funds raised over the price of the bed will go straight to the continuing medical bills. Go Michelle, go!
