Help Michelle Recover from Heart Surgery

Donation protected

This is for my mom, Michelle.

My mom has always been hardworking and strong her whole life and has never been the one to ask for help, so I'm asking for her.

On March 11th, my mother was having minor chest pains and had to be transported via ambulance to the next city where we live.
The doctors say she had had a STEMI heart attack (almost a total blockage of her major artery). Later that week, she had to have a quadruple coronary bypass to repair the severe blockages in her coronary arteries—including her widowmaker artery, a silent, ticking time bomb. Her bypass took over 8 1/2 hours but went well, and she came home at the end of March.

She was home for two days when her visiting nurses came for a scheduled appointment. My mother was a little disoriented, felt faint, and her blood pressure was so low she could barely walk. The nurse called 911, and again, an ambulance was called, and she was transported to the hospital in the next town over. Apparently, she had a blood clot that had formed and broken around her heart, which caused her to have several strokes. Two days later, she was having a carotid endarterectomy on her left carotid artery due to another 85-90% blockage.

Thankfully, she is on her way to recovery but will, in the future, need the same operation on her right carotid artery.

Mom is not able to work for the next two months (maybe longer). Medical bills are already mounting, with more on the way. Mortgage, groceries, therapy, and daily essentials are all uncertain. The fear is overwhelming for her (and her kids too).

We have all helped her as much as possible and will continue to do so, but can only do what we can do. That is why I am reaching out to friends, family, and every caring heart out there. Life is hard for so many of us right now, but I had to do something.

So, this is me, asking humbly and from the heart.

If you have anything to spare—even a dollar—it will go directly toward:
Keeping food on the table
Paying off essential medical bills and supplies
Covering home expenses so we can focus on mom's rehabilitation
And if you can’t give financially, that’s okay. Sharing this, offering a prayer, or sending a kind word. It ALL matters.

We want my mom to focus on healing, not on fear.
We want her to feel the love she’s always given to others reflected back on her now.

Thank you—truly—for taking the time to read this.
I love my mom more than words can say.

Let’s help her feel that love now.
