Help Michelle with her husband, Kent's passing

On January 20th, at 2:57 pm, heaven gained an angel named Kent McIff. Kent was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly. Although he had health issues, he was doing well after moving here last year. Unfortunately, he and Michelle contracted Covid a couple of weeks ago, and while Michelle's health slowly improved, Kent's continued to decline. He was admitted to the hospital on January 17th and succumbed to his illness four days later. If you didn't know Kent, you truly missed out on an extraordinary person. He was always busy doing things. If it wasn't a car he was working on or a neighbor's lawn he wasn't mowing, he was entertaining his four spoiled dogs or out visiting with the neighbors. He was the kindest soul!  He and Michelle always brought over homemade chili, pastries, and other delicious meals they cooked up. If you had a concern, Kent was there to solve the problem. He would lend a helping hand at no cost to anyone who needed it, and that's pretty much how he always was, just a genuinely lovely person. He never left anyone out and was always thinking of others before himself. Kent was funny, quick-witted, and kind. He would give you the shirt off his back. He impacted so many lives and will be greatly missed.

 

Michelle, his wife, is now trying to pick up the pieces. I am asking if anyone could please help her during this most difficult time; it would mean the world to her and myself as she's been a wonderful friend. There's so much to think about, and she's overwhelmed as it all seems surreal. Even if you donate a dollar, every little bit helps as she's lost his income and has no idea what the medical costs will be. She is a very hard worker; she's worked full time for 19 years, and now it's time for her to allow others to help her through this difficult time.
