Help Midhun Krishnan Continue His Treatment

This financial support request is for Midhun Krishnan, a 22-year-old from Kudamaloor, Kottayam, Kerala, who has been undergoing treatment for decompensated chronic kidney disease and bladder-related issues since the age of 12.

Due to his illness, Midhun had to discontinue his Plus Two education. Since the diagnosis, his parents have struggled to continue his medical treatment. After nine years of continuous treatment at Kottayam Medical College Hospital, he was admitted to Lakeshore Hospital in Ernakulam for a bladder operation, followed by Amrita Hospital for a kidney transplantation.

In July 2024, Midhun's kidney transplantation procedure was completed. The family had to spend nearly 18 lakhs of rupees for the kidney and bladder-related operations. To meet these expenses, they sold all their assets to cover the costs at two major hospitals in Kochi.

Midhun's mother was the donor, providing a kidney for the transplant. His father, an auto driver and daily wage earner, is the sole breadwinner for the family. They need to spend nearly 18,000 rupees monthly on his medication, and his father is currently struggling to find financing for his continuous treatment and medicine costs.

Midhun's family is seeking our help. We are currently looking for options to support the family in covering Midhun's monthly medical costs, as these expenses are currently unaffordable for them.
