Help Mikah See
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jacob and I am fundraising for my nephew Mikah. Mikah was born with a very serious eye condition called myopia. This basically means that Mikah's eyes are growing too fast and could lead to permanent blindness.
We are people of faith and are believing for complete healing in his eyes. As we pray and believe for healing we are also looking for ways to help Mikah. His wonderful mom, my sister, Denise found a program called Treehouse Eyes that gives us some hope. The biggest obstacle we are facing is the cost. As is the case with most programs, the cost isn’t cheap and isn’t covered by insurance. The program cost $4,525 for the first two years and $800 every year after that. It also cost $30 per month for prescription eye drops that help to stop his eyes from continuing to grow. This doesn’t include the 3 hour drive to Albuquerque to be a part of the program.
The cost adds up but I know it is still possible for Mikah to be a part of the program. He is loved by so many and is a friend to everyone he meets. He loves going to church and singing the worship song “way-maker”. He also loves animals literally any and every animal he want to keep and bring home to take care of. He’s also a boy who adores his mommy. And rightfully so, my sister is a single mom who does this alone. She works hard for her boys and everything she does. I know as a community we can come together to help Mikah. Give him the chance to be a part of this program that will help him keep his eyesight. So he can see all the wonderfully things his future has for him.
