Help Mikal replace their Home on Wheels

This fundraiser is for Mikal! Mikal is a disabled arts educator and teacher.
Mikal runs seasonal camps for children on farms, as well as afterschool kids' programs in public and private schools. In addition to youth education, they dedicate extra time to teach adult arts and education.
Due to increasing rent costs and decreasing income compounded by inflation affecting those served, Mikal had to move into a slide-in truck camper last year. It is a temporary solution while looking for land locally to start a long-term home.
The Bad News: Recently, Mikal's truck stopped running. After spending over 1k, Mikal was told by the mechanic that upwards of $10,000 of engine work could be required to keep it safely working, which is a common problem for older trucks. Mikal needs to secure funding to purchase a different truck by the end of May.
The Good News: A generous fundraising match was offered, and Mikal is very close to being able to secure a new vehicle, thanks to the generosity of donors. With this extra effort of a GoFundMe, they will be closer to starting fresh in a fully functioning vehicle with fewer up-front maintenance requirements.
Your valued support would go directly to housing a member of your community with a worthwhile cause. Mikal is a dedicated servant of a broad, intersectional community of children and adults, and they depend on reliable mobile housing to be able to do this work.
We would greatly appreciate the support for a passionate educator in the PNW. Thank you!
