Help Mike and Alicia Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

My name is Chris. We live in Fletcher, NC, 20 minutes south of Ashevillle, NC, in one of the hardest hit areas by hurricane Helene. My neighbors in Fletcher, NC, Mike, Alicia amd their 2 kids experienced devastating flooding of their home from the hurricane. During a sleepless night on September 27th, the creek rose more than 10 feet until it was running through their home. The water destroyed most everything in the home… floors, walls, kitchen cabinets, furniture, appliances, etc.

Since Mike & Alicia don't have flood insurance, the full financial weight of their rebuild will fall on them. 10 days after the storm, the entire neighborhood was still without power, water, and internet. A month later, the floors, drywall, installation and HVAC have been demo’ed by Mike and generous volunteers. Now begins the expensive phase… rebuilding. Money raised from this campaign will help Mike and Alicia get heat/HVAC re-installed, purchase new floors, carpeting, drywall, cabinets, and appliances that have been ruined by floodwaters. The full rebuild will take several months and cost tens of thousands of dollars.
