Help Mike Foy Win His Battle With Lung Cancer

Please help our friend Michael “Pollo” Foy, recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.

Anyone who knows Mike knows he is one of the kindest, most genuine people you can come across. He loves all things 80’s, his rescue dogs (Pongo and Willow), and has a gift for making people laugh. Most of all, he loves spending family time with his wife, Susan, and stepdaughters Ismoni (25) and Brielle (8). He’s a dedicated employee who puts in long hours but is never too tired to lend a hand to help others when needed. Today, we ask that you consider supporting our dear friend Mike when he needs it the most as he begins an unimaginable and challenging journey.

Mike sought medical treatment on September 12th after a persistent backache and cough in recent months. Doctors informed him of a large mass on his left lung after analyzing his MRI scan, and further tests revealed masses on both lungs. He was seen by a lung specialist on September 14th and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has possibly spread. This coming week, Mike will be seen by oncology to determine the type of cancer and best treatment options to begin his fight.

This diagnosis has come as a massive shock to Mike and his family. Understandably, they are terrified of what the future holds. They will be making life-changing decisions, juggling multiple appointments and tests, and learning about treatment options while dealing with cancer's emotional ups and downs, finances, childcare, etc.

Without great means themselves, we ask you as friends, allies and kind-hearted strangers for your support to help with Mike’s medical expenses. Unfortunately, the sad reality is healthcare costs a great deal of money to treat illness and maintain a decent quality of life. Any contribution will surely be put to good use in reducing their stress and fear, increasing their peace of mind and encouraging an environment of healing and positivity.
