Help Mike Higgins Rebuild After The Fire
Donation protected
We are Tom and Kim Ranley, and we would like to reach out to our great community to help one of our own in a time of need. Many of you know Mike Higgins, our local chainsaw wood sculptor. Mike is passionate about his work and loves making people happy with it. Mike’s work can be seen throughout our community, including in the high school, Munroe Feeds, and most visible now in front of Camp Ramsbottom. For those of you that know Mike, I’m sure you feel as we do, that Mike is one of the nicest people you will meet. Mike is a people person and greets everyone with a smile and loves to meet and connect with new people.
On November 17th, there was a fire at Mike’s work site on Winthrop St. in Rehoboth, and he lost everything. Mike lost all of his chainsaws and tools as well as many commissioned sculptures that were waiting to be delivered and others that were in the works. Mike was working on his inventory for the holidays and lost it all with no insurance to fall back on. We are hoping that Mike will be able to continue doing what he loves and that we can help him do that, but he has lost his only source of income and may need some financial assistance in the meantime as well. Please consider giving whatever you can as the holiday season approaches because every little bit will be much appreciated for sure.
