Help Mike & Robin Gump

Hi, my name is Sherri Hinshaw. I'm trying to raise money to help my sister, Robin Gump, and her husband, Mike, during a very difficult time. Mike has been battling cancer for several years but has always maintained a positive and uplifting attitude. Those of you that know him know that he will help anyone anytime with anything. As much as he's been through over the years he has missed almost no work. Mike has been through chemo, radiation, several stent procedures and a multitude of x-rays and labs over the years. Most recently he was taken to the ER due to pain in his back and abdomen. The hospital ended up transferring him to Fort Wayne Lutheran due to uncontrolled bleeding. While doing tests in Fort Wayne they discovered a hernia surrounding the stoma of his colostomy which caused a small bowel blockage and he had to be rushed into surgery at 2:30 this morning. I spoke with Robin earlier and she said he seems to be resting a bit easier but is so scared about the future. Both of them have missed work this last several days and Robin is having to drive back and forth each day to Fort Wayne. Our family is asking now if you will donate anything you can to help with their expenses and bills during this difficult time. Every little bit will help from $1 to $5. Anything you can afford would be appreciated more than words could express.Those of you that work at Marion Health and have accrued several PTO days and would be willing to donate them to Robin please contact HR & let them know.
