Help Mike See Again at Age 72
Donation protected

Hi. I'm Jon. I was raised almost single-handedly by my dad, Mike. He's given all and more to make sure my brother and I, as well as my brother's children, grow up to be the best we possibly can. He's helped plenty of others too, babysitting, loaning money, rides to and fro, and anything else a good friend and family member can. He's worn glasses his entire life and has recently developed cataracts in both of his eyes, as well as some other technical mumbo jumbo about fogginess in his eyes.
He currently has scheduled surgery to both remove his cataracts and his 'fogginess,' which would let him be glasses-free for the first time in his adult life. He is 72. The only problem is that it is $4000, and we are not in the financial position to be able to pay for it.
I'm not asking for anyone to help pay it outright, but if anyone can help out, we'd sure be most grateful. His granddaughter loves to play games and is sad when he can't play because his eyes aren't good enough for him to see well enough to play without getting a headache and getting sick, and it would mean the world to her, him, and all of us if we could get this done.
So please consider donating a few dollars.
