Help Mikey beat cancer...again...
Mikey Neidigk is a lot like any other 4 year old. But beyond loving superheroes, cars, and his family- Mikey beat leukemia, or so we thought.
in December of 2019, the Neidigk Family received the devastating news that Mikey’s cancer is back, and more aggressive.
Mikey’s dad is a friend and coworker. Needless to say, a teacher salary doesn’t make fighting cancer any easier- let alone twice. Please consider donating to the Neidigk family to beat cancer, for good this time!
From Mikey’s parents:
We got the worst possible news yesterday. Mikey’s leukemia is back. It’s pretty aggressive and replicating fast. The stakes are even higher now trying to fight a disease that has gotten smarter in his body. He will have to endure a harsh chemo regimen for a month and we will pray that it gets him into full remission. If that happens, we will go in for a second transplant right away. This is extremely hard for us to process, but we are ready to do whatever it takes to get him well. Doctors expect him to suffer a lot more from the various side effects this time. We are just so heartbroken for him and for our entire family. Please continue to hold us up in prayer. This is an extremely difficult time.
I could elaborate on how angry and broken we are, but we are choosing to keep our hope and faith at the forefront of all of this. Mikey is an amazing fighter and we believe that he will beat this. You see, we are not alone. We are surrounded by an army of prayer warriors and we know the Lord goes before us even now.
