Help Mila & family fly to Alopecia camp!

This will be Mila, and her family’s second year going to Alopecia camp, and we are so excited! This year we are traveling to Indiana, for the big Alopeciapalooza, which is about an 11.5 hour drive without any stops or traffic. Because driving that far would be incredibly difficult, we are hoping to fly. This fundraiser will help specifically with the cost of the flights for myself and my daughter, and son and the rental car (2 hour drive from the airport).

If you don’t know what Alopecia is, it’s an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the hair follicles. Some people have patches of missing hair, also known as Alopecia Areata. Some have lost all the hair on their head, also known as Alopecia Totalis. And some have lost hair everywhere on their body, also known as Alopecia Universalis. Alopecia camp aims to teach you to feel beautiful and confident in your own skin. I think it is so important that people realize that being bald is beautiful too! So please be kind, and appreciate what makes everyone different. Thank you!
