Help Milan Rebuild After Eaton Fire Loss

Donation protected

Tragedy struck Los Angeles on January 7th, 2025 when multiple fires ravaged the landscape, tearing honest and hardworking people from their homes. With little time to escape, many people fled the mountain with only what they could carry in their bags, cars, and for some, their hands. Many went to work thinking it would be another Tuesday only to find out that night that they would lose everything. One of these unfortunate people was a close friend of mine, Milan.

Milan has been an Altadena native for over 20 years. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Milan knows her as a genuine, kind, and loving person. The same walls that protected her from her first day of school to her graduation and first day in the workforce have all been burned to the ground. Formative memories teemed the house. That night, the Eaton Fire took both her belongings and sanctuary. With only minutes to evacuate, she could only take her dog Koda and the clothes on her back. In the wake of this disaster, Milan needs your help to rebuild her life. Fortunately, losing the neighborhood did not mean losing the community that came with it.

With this fund, we hope she can help recover everything that was lost. Although many of the belongings that were lost in the fire were irreplaceable mementos, we can come together and help Milan rebuild. Any donations will greatly help, and we sincerely appreciate everyone's kindness and support.

Thank you for continuing to look out for your neighbors across the Altadena area and beyond! Much love and many thanks in this trying time <3.
