Help Miles Leighton Heal After Tragic Accident

Hello everyone,

I am Miles Leighton's younger brother, Kevin.

Before going into the details, I want to talk about Miles for a little bit. He's dorky and sarcastic and sometimes talks too much. He loves his kids and his wife and is an avid fan of video games and fantasy stories. He can talk your ear off about anime and video games for hours. We both grew up in Washington and I can confidently say he is someone I am proud of and admire for the life he's built for himself with his wife and two kids.

But to get to the point, I am making this in order to help support my brother after a recent traumatic event involving an accident on his way to work.

Miles was on his way to work on Sunday, January 12th, 2025. Just before 3 am, he was struck by a driver going down Highway WA-167 southbound the wrong way with its headlights off.

I don't know the full details, and probably won't until later on after the investigation is concluded. What I do know is that my brother suffered traumatic injuries due to this crash. He suffered several broken bones like his femurs in both legs, right wrist, hip, both arms, his nose, and spine. After the crash, we know that both cars caught fire immediately and luckily a State Trooper and two pedestrians pulled him out in time. He was lucky to survive.

I know that my brother managed to survive that early morning because of the family he loves and supports.

He has a long road to recovery over the next few months, and he is going to need all the help he can get. My parents, his wife, and close friends will be beside him to support him emotionally and financially, but we won't know the full cost of everything yet.

Any amount of donation is going to go towards paying his medical bills and any amount donated will be greatly appreciated.
