Help Milo be pain free

Milo is a Norwegian Elkhound, just over 1 year old. He came to us when the breeder could not sell him and he was the runt of the litter and much smaller than his siblings. Recently he cried while outside and was limping. Thinking he slipped on ice, maybe pulled something. We took him to the vet the next day and he was in pain - they needed to do x-rays under sedation. It was there that it was discovered Milo has severe hip dysplasia requiring a double FHO surgery. The vet stated it is a birth defect, so as he grew up it started causing difficulties for him.

The estimate on this surgery is just over $3,100 PER LEG. Milo is just a baby at 1 yr old and deserves to be able to walk pain free! We are still hoping to find his forever home out there - we want him to be healthy and happy forever!
